The winners of the 65th Evening Standard Theatre Awards took place at the London Coliseum on Sunday 24th November 2019.
The star-studded ceremony, co-hosted Evening Standard Proprietor Evgeny Lebedev and American Vogue’s Editor-In-Chief, Dame Anna Wintour, Damian Lewis, Helen McCrory and The Good Fight actress Cush Jumbo who also presented the evening’s ceremony presenter.
Jumbo opened the ceremony with ten Brit School students in a rendition of Windy City, which also featured some performances from two of the West End’s brand new musicals. Dear Evan Hansen’s star Sam Tutty sang Waving Through A Window, while Miriam-Teak Lee and the cast of & Juliet performed Roar.
The Evening Standard Theatre Awards were kindly supported by Access Entertainment, Ambassador Theatre Group, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Chanel, Christian Louboutin, and David Morris.
