- First year of partnering with the 'Oscars of the Beauty Industry'
Launched in the UK in 2006, the awards, known as the 'Oscars of the Beauty Industry', recognise outstanding product innovation and creativity.
This is the first year the Evening Standard and ES Magazine have partnered with the awards - a highlight in the beauty calendar.
The partnership ran for over six months with the following activations taking place:
Product Demonstration Evening
The event was a showcase for brands entering products into the awards. We partnered with Eylure, as it was National Lash Day, to offer all the attendees the chance to have their lashes done.
Beauty Awards Lunch
A special edition Evening Standard cover wrap was distributed to all attendees of the lunch. The wrap featured one of our most popular editorial pillars, My London, with our Head of Beauty Suzan Antonowicz interviewing the President of CEW UK, Caroline Neville MBE.
Winners announcement

Finalists and Winners Party
We hosted a celebration party for the finalists and winners of the 2019 CEW Beauty Awards. The party took place at Burlington Arcade with support from our partners at Ultimate Provence, Harvey Nichols, Savile Row Gin, Botanic Labs and Aspinal.
