- Evening Standard are proud to be a part of Newsworks 'Festival of News' at the British Library
Newsworks is set to host its first-ever ‘Festival of News’ event at the British Library, which focuses on the importance of quality trusted journalism and why it matters to readers and advertisers.
Charlotte Ross, Evening Standard's Acting Editor will open the event with discussion on free speech and the stories that matter alongside Editors Victoria Newton (The Sun), Alison Phillips (Mirror), Emma Tucker (Sunday Times)
Evening Standard’s reporter Emma Loffhagen will join a panel of young, up and coming journalists discussing what the future of news looks like to them.
The Festival of News will take place on 9 June at the British Library’s Knowledge Centre to coincide with the Library’s “Breaking the News” exhibition (22 April – 21 August 2022), which is supported by Newsworks.
