The Evening Standard, London’s most iconic news brand, announces today the appointment of Ben Cobb as Editor of ES Magazine, leading the vision for London’s premier style and culture destination across the newsprint edition and its digital platforms. Ben will commence in this role on 4 October and the appointment marks a new era for the iconic publication, which celebrates London’s thriving culture, art, fashion, beauty, food, film and theatre scenes
A renowned fashion journalist and tastemaker, Ben spent over a decade at British fashion magazine Another Man, in roles including Editor-in-Chief, before joining influential style publication LOVE as Co-Editor-In-Chief in early 2020. Last year he helped to launch Perfect Magazine, a creative community and content platform, alongside his former LOVE colleague Katie Grand. Ben’s vision for ES will see a sharpening of digital innovation, introducing dynamic new creative voices and extending the magazine’s storytelling from the page into moving image and real life experiences. Ben succeeds long-time Editor Laura Weir.

ES Magazine’s biannual fashion edition will be published tomorrow, 16th September, coinciding with London Fashion Week.
