The Evening Standard launch a new Future London sponsored partnership with Huawei.

The STEM Project is a brilliant six-part series, encouraging young people aged 11-16 to get excited about science, technology, maths and engineering and consider careers that they might never have known even existed. We are doing that through fortnightly STEM challenges and interviews with brilliant role models.

The campaign with will feature challenges for children (and adults) to do at home. Our first challenge is all about AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING and how far you can fly a paper plane, encouraging children to modify their plane to enhance performance.

This is another good example of The Standard leading the conversation around how important STEM is to London’s future economic growth, supporting the creation of critical thinkers, increasing science literacy amongst young people in the capital and enabling the next generation of innovators.
